Fashion Final.

For the past few weeks in my Fashion Illustration class, I have had the pleasure of having Frank Stockton as my teacher. He has taught me to be more confident in my work in three weeks, than I've ever been able to do in 4 years at MICA. His artwork is also beyond amazing, and I hope to one day be able to use line as smartly as he does. Our final assignment was to design a piece based around a Fortune from a Fortune cookie. My Fortune was:

"Let the Predictability and Reliability of life sustain you."

Pretty ominous, I thought. As I was pretty drawn out, I decided to revert to my Collage style for this piece, and I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

Wow Megan, this is lovely. Love the colors and textures. I do wish the line work in the face were as sharp as the line work in the mask / medallions though. I love it. I'd say this is definitely a good note to end the class with.
